WENDY LOFTIS
Experienced Clinical Pharmacist and Wellness Advocate
Wendy is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner through The Institute for Functional Medicine and holds a certification in Peptide Therapy through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. Additionally, Wendy has over 30 years of experience as a clinical Pharmacist and is Board Certified in Geriatrics.
She has been immersed in functional medicine for over 16 years and offers evidence-based solutions to improve overall health by addressing the gut-body connection, immune regulation, hormone balance, and cellular resilience. Wendy is adept at de-prescribing unnecessary pharmaceuticals in favor of more targeted, advanced therapies including hormone support, ozone therapy, supplements, and meaningful diet and lifestyle modifications.
In addition to her extensive clinical background, Wendy has completed advanced training in hormone replacement therapy, neural therapy, ozone therapy, and health optimization/longevity medicine. This added expertise allows her to incorporate cutting-edge, regenerative strategies into her personalized care plans.
Her unique blend of conventional pharmacy and functional medicine enables her to uncover the root causes of health concerns—rather than simply masking symptoms. Wendy works collaboratively with clients to create sustainable, personalized wellness plans that promote long-term vitality and optimal function. She also works closely under the direction of Dr. Danielle McDevitt to ensure care is coordinated, evidence-based, and aligned with each patient’s overall treatment goals.
fun fact:
The mother of three, Wendy developed her passion for functional medicine following the birth of her youngest child—a son who developed epilepsy as an infant. When a series of anti-epileptic medications failed to provide relief, she turned to dietary changes and nutritional supplementation. The results were immediate and transformative, prompting her to rethink her role as a conventional pharmacist and to pivot into functional medicine.
When she’s not helping clients reclaim their health, Wendy enjoys spending time with her two daughters, son, and husband. In her spare time, she can be found cooking healthy meals for her family, working out at Pure Barre, or beekeeping.
